The United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) announced their endorsement today of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for re-election next year, citing the Administration’s commitment to working people, historic investments in energy and infrastructure, and tireless work to protect our gold standard registered apprenticeship programs.
“When President Biden and Vice President Harris were first elected, they promised to be the most pro-worker Administration in American history. Three years later, they are already delivering on that promise. The Biden-Harris Administration has provided economic opportunity for all United Association members – meaning our members have a fair shot at working family-sustaining jobs while building the future of American infrastructure,” said Mark McManus, General President of the United Association.
“From replacing lead service lines to building the future of clean energy, from building and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing facilities to training the future of our skilled workforce, the men and women of the United Association are proud to play an essential role powering our nation. The historic investments in infrastructure, achievements in bipartisan permitting reform, and commitment to strong labor protections by the Biden-Harris Administration mean our members will continue to perform this work for generations to come. For the future of our great union and the future of our great nation, the entire United Association is proud to stand with President Biden and Vice President Harris for reelection.”
The United Association launched a nationwide member-to-member ad campaign to run on digital and satellite TV. The campaign features “For America,” a 2:30 spot announcing this endorsement. In addition, the United Association released a :60 version and two :15 videos featuring General President McManus. All four spots can be viewed at the link here.
